Nothing beats meeting customers face to face. Hearing their views, being able to help answer their questions and understand their needs is why I was pleased to host this year’s K3 Equator regular Customer Days at a number of locations around the UK. I personally enjoy the events as I feel that they enhance the already Equator system by showing some tips and tricks that our users are not aware of.

Our software is all about keeping people on track and keeping track of people, regular training and throwing in a few surprise wins every now and then. From personnel and payroll to new employment law and real time data collection, every business and HR department needs to be able feel confident that the back office functions are working seamlessly.

The good news for our users is Equator is always ahead of the game when it comes to legislative updates, such as Gender Pay Gap Reporting (https://www.gov.uk/government/news/gender-pay-gap-reporting) and the Apprenticeship Levy (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apprenticeship-levy/apprenticeship-levy) with the required functionality and instructions always in place prior to when they are needed.

In a complex world our aim is to provide businesses with everything they need to manage their most valuable assets i.e. people. However, we don’t just apply legislative updates, our software is enhanced at each release, based upon the recommendations from our ever growing customer base.

So often when people take the time and trouble to give their feedback it is ignored. Not so by us at K3 Equator. We take the brickbats as well as the bouquets. In future we will provide HR directors and everyone responsible for people management a monthly update on the latest developments with the focus on top tips.

We’ll be holding more customer days in the future which we encourage our customers to attend to gain the benefits that customers below who attended received.
